If RVP leaves obviously:
He would not be a typical Wenger signing, but he is available and has adapted to the PL already.
Good goal scoring record in a poor side, experienced but still young enough to improve.
Worth a punt?
Steven Fletcher to Arsenal?

You get Cazorla for that money Sunderland payed
How stupid is Sunderland

Fletcher is a good centre forward, and is certainly be capable of scoring quite a few goals in the Premier League - with a decent team, which Sunderland A.F.C. are
He's definately not good enough for Arsenal, 'cos they're far better than S.A.F.C. and they have better options
Having said that, I can't believe some of the idiotic comments from some, stupid, ridiculing, Arsenal fans when all that we are trying to do is to improve our team
. . . . it takes all sorts

Fletcher is a minimum 10 goals a season striker at Premiership level..... in a POOR team. The only guy that ever set him up at Wolves was Jarvis.... if Fletcher went to Arsenal he'd hit the ground running; and no offence to Wolves but he would be surrounded by players of Jarvis quality or better. Say what you like about Cazorla, Giroud and Podolski but I can't see any of them doing much until they have settled and learnt English for a start.
Fletcher is 25, had three seasons in the Premier League and has found the net on a regular basis in all of them despite a distinct lack of service. £15m would be a gamble but he has outscored £12m Theo Walcott over the last three years.....
