A lot of clubs that come up have the momentum to do well the following season and then start to fade away. So therefore I expect charlton to do ok and finish midtable but the weed had their chance at the playoffs and are now on a steady decline back to League 1 and beyond. Once the novelty of their new stadium wears off their fans will go back to supporting someone else. Good thing they have Wayne Bridge otherwise that Swindon result might have been embarrasing!

As it's the opening day of the new season I will be the one entering the stadium by parachuting with the Queen. Then doing some psychedelic covers of British classics with Mr Bean. Nothing too special. I'm saving that for the last day of the season

Not sure the extent of it or whether it was just a precaution to remove him. After seeing Wilbrahimovic I am confident he will score this year!

You've made a poor team much weaker by selling your 3 best players - its as if you are already resigned to going down!!

We lost 2 arguably...I wouldn't say neither Ambrose or Scannell could be argued were our best players- more like squad in my honest opinion.

Losing Gardener and Clyne was a big loss you are right but we have got very good replacements in via Ward and Peter "The Damage" Rammage so I am confident our defence and Selhurst will remain a fortress.

Scoring goals will be our problem this season again, but we are Palace and always seem to have lady luck with us!

Personally, I'd prefer it if Barnsley. Huddersfield and Sheff Weds went down, but think your lot will really struggle this season - why hasn't Dougie spent much money after those 4 departures?

Clyne wasn't at his best towards the end of last season and Gardner was knackered by the end of it. Gardner is on his way downhill so good thing we let Sheff Weds have him so they can pay him too much! Now you say it maybe they will be in the bottom 3

Barnsley, Burnley, Bristol City, Derby, Peterborough and the sc*m of South London are going to be down there. We should finish mid table.

We have spent money but knew Clyne and Gardner were going so got replacements in early. As for Ambrose and Scannell we have decent academy players so no need to throw money and bankrupt the club again.

I don't think the sc*m of South London will be down there - they got over 100 points in League 1 last season!!

Millwall won't go down - Kenny Jackett is one of the best managers in this league!!

millwall won't do a rangers and go backrupt and have to start in the non-league but we can all dream can't we?
