Personally I think SAF wants to go back to the standard 4-4-2 with

Cleverly will replace Carrick and Scholes will replace Ando ased on needs of the game. Im guessing Chicharito is going to e turned into an out and out impact substitute. Welbeck will get a look in in some games but he will probably partner Chicharito in cup games.

Kagawa will more than likely start off the bench and come in again as an impact substitute maybe in a season or 2 will we see Kagawa becoming a regular starter at number 10 with the 4 strikers battling it out for the number 9 role.

That said, I really dont se why we need RVP.

Doubt that we would spend £16million on a substitute. He will start, probably from midfield or inside left.

if kagawa starts on the bench it will confirm saf has lost it, he's been the best player in every game he's played so far for us, to start him on the bench would be ridiculous

He'll be on the bench, RVP will be on the bench, Young will be on the bench etc.

This season will be rotation, rotation, rotation! The only ever presents will be De Gea, Carrick and Rooney (imo)

well yes you know what i mean, kagawa should be one of key players this season who we can rely on in the big games, he is a big game player.

Bebe will be the Waterboy.

Mike Phelan will keep winding him up and BAM, Bebe will lay him out and be our new midfield enforcer.

I know and would love to see Kagawa start but if RVP comes then one of them will be on the bench because I cant see RVP removing Rooney from the starting line up and Kagawa is a No. 10 specialist he cant remove Carrick, Ando, Shcolesy or cleverly from the midfield and he is not better than Nani or Young on the left wing. He is a great No. 10 so he will either push rooney to the bench or to the No. 9 spot and I cant see the former happening and if RVP goes to the bench then Why have we just signed Welbeck on a new contract and SAF say Chicharito will be central to his plans.

The only way to resolve this is like funrob said "Rotation, Rotation, Rotation" the formation will be changing from game to game with the personnel changing from game to game as well
