If we manage to Land King Carlos and resign Bougy, I honestly think we will have a really formidable defence.
McGregor Papac and Whitts with those pair would be the strongest defence we have had in years.
A decent creative midfielder along side stevo, ortiz and wylde/McCulloch/Naismith or at a push Edu.
Up top if we keep Jela for another couple of years add Miller or Goodwinkle then imo we have a great team.
I guess the problem is when we have injuries.
So my question is do we need many first team signings or do we just need squad players.
In one instance when we were deep in the financial shegite it was an opportunity to bed the youth in the team
but filling our squad with over valued over payed average foreigners kinda got us in the sht in the first place
We really need to decide what direction our club wants to head in.... Do we go with a solid first team backed up with good youth players...... or do we push and fill the squad with over rated foreign players like celtic
