Celtic Fan in peace
Just wanted to ask why the h..ell would Arsenal sell one of thier best players to one of your biggest rivals? I mean I know he wanted to leave but the same time selling to Man Utd ?
It would have made more sense selling him abroad, now with him gone can you honestly see Arsenal spending big to replace him,
Anyway just wanted to get your thoughts on this, which I am sure your sick to the back teeth talking about it

Juve came in with an offer of less than half of United's early in the window which was rejected.
Don't get me wrong I'm not happy about it but he had to go, it was the only realistic offer on the table, we took it.

I can understand getting good money but just hope for yourself its invested right back in with a good Striker.
Gutted you sold to them though

Of course. I'd love to see us go after the Llorente at Athletico Bilbao, he's turned down an extension. Juve are supposedly interested for around 15-20m.
So am I. Hopefully he reverts to his injury prone days, after all his ankle is held toghether with gaffa tape and hope...

Yes good player if you get him, but I am sure the fans will be wanting a replacement soon, as the season starting this week
Well I hope when you play Utd you beat them, but in all honesty I can't see anyone but City wining the league again this year even if Utd have RVP

Wenger doesn't keep players who don't want to stay. We've seen it time and time again. So when it became apparent that RvP wanted out (and yes I'll admit that I didn't automatically assume he was leaving...), that was the only option. As for replacements, I'd be willing to bet we already have them in Giroud and Podolski. Is that enough? Doubtful. But I'm not confident of anyone else coming in in those positions...

Hope your wrong mate, Arsenal haven't won anything for a while and I am sure fans are getting fed up spending there hard earned money to watch a Arsenal team come away with nothing and keep selling there best players
Fab for me is half the player he was when he played for Arsenal, I wonder if the same thing will happen to RVP....time will tell but you need a quality striker and I think the fans will want it to

Yeah, I hope to be wrong too. We'll see... there's still two weeks to go in the transfer window, but with questions about Song, it looks like that's really the area of concern. And I can actually see AW saying with Coq and Frimps (when he recovers), we'll have enough cover...
But again, we'll see.
I haven't really seen much of Fab since he left except some Euro games and a bit from an el classico game or two, so I couldn't say whether he's improved or not. But he's where he wanted to be.

Song I watch alot of Barca s games and not just saying it Fab looks half the player he was at Arsenal, don't know if that is because he is trying to hard
Anyway good luck in your new season
