Moving on to other pressing matters.....

We need to move on from what happened yesterday

Better players have left & we have remained Arsenal.

We have Podolski & Giroud, two distinct but promising strikers. I did rather spend my time trying to figure out how we can play these two players together & get the best out of our new strike force. Wenger has his back against the wall (once again) but despite being a die hard anti-wenger fan, I feel so much sympathy for him & i am ready to give him my support for the first 4 months of this season as long as he concentrates on the squad at hand & shore up our shakey defence.

We dont have big named players but we have a world class manager & now a balanced squad that,baring no major injuries, could do the impossible & contest for the EPL. We should concentrate on making sure we pick 90% of our home points & be defensively & tactically disciplined at home. We might lose away to the Manchester clubs & maybe Chelsea, but we have a great chance at every other ground for 3 points.

All we need to do is defend better, with more concentration & discipline esp during set-pieces. We have Bouldy now & he should earn him wages by working his butt off to ensure this. Wenger too needs to lay emphasise on stopping opposition attackers.

Finally, and this is about Song. I would hate to lose him but if he really wants to leave so be it. But please Wenger, buy a real DM before you sell him becos we do not have adequate replacements. We concede so much goals becos our DM position is weak, we are simply too indisciplined. If wenger fails to get an adequate replacement for song then i can confidently say the season is over.
