Shame we couldn't have signed him yesterday and celebrated his birthday on the same day.

Never heard of him but loving that we are trying to keep everything quiet until the last minute.

There was an article talking about Brendan's notebook and how he has some similarities to Rafa... well it looks like Assaidi is Brendan's El Zahr!

But seriously looking at his performance clips, he has pace, seriously quick feet and is comfortable with his left or right foot.

He seems to be a right nutmeg-meister too.

I have never heard of him (not even on football manager!, but I think it's awesome that we can sign a player COMPLETELY out of the blue.

Now I've realised we have a good manager in BR. I like his signings. He can spot talent. He likes to go for players with skills, dribbling ability and pace, and basically players who love to keep the ball unlike Dalglish's signings. Obvious example is Henderson who is seen always far away from the ball.

BR signings remind me of Wenger. No wonder both of BR and AW go after the same players. Dempsey, Sahin, Tello. I'm sure if BR had been given the money AW had then he would have gone after Cazorla and Podolski as well.

I've never heard it him but he sounds decent. The kind of player Newcastle would sign and everyone would be raving about in a couple of months. Here's hoping
