Great to see these guys get the recognition

MEDICAL STAFF RECEIVE NATIONAL RECOGNITION

Dr Shaabaz Mughal, Club Doctor, will tonight feature on the BBC 999 Awards show on BBC1 at 8pm.

Dr Mughal, Wayne Diesel, Head of Medical Services and Geoff Scott, Head Physiotherapist, have been recognised as part of the team that aided Fabrice Muamba’s recovery from his cardiac arrest at White Hart Lane in March.
The team that has received the Special Recognition Award also includes Bolton Wanderers’ medical staff, cardiologists Dr Andrew Deaner and Dr Sam Mohiddin, and paramedic Peter Fisher.

Great to see and not to take anything away from what these guys did but there are people who do this everyday, get paid a lot less, and their recognition is the threat of a 5% pay cut by our government. Nice eh?

I get your point King Chuck but this probably isn't the right place for politics.

I think everyone feared the worst but these guys saved a young man's life
