How do you know he had an offer from Spurs?

His agent gave an interview in Italy stating that spurs had offered 16mil but the wages weren't high enough so he wasn't going to them.

Nobody on here has slagged the area. All Fred said was that Southampton was a nicer place to live.

That is debatable, but he is entitled to that opinion without being questioned or accused.

Here was me thinking they act solely in their clients (their own) interest.

I didn't say Liverpool or London are bad places to le but having mved about I could happily say that the South Coast is the nicest place to live in the UK.

I've been living in what I consider a nice part of Liverpool for a long time now and I'm happy.

I'm sure the South Coast is a very nice part of the country to live in but each to their own and all that...
