Why is it that...

whenever you come on to JA606 and have read all articles on your own boards ... about player signings, records being broken, our season ticket phenomenon, the unity of our fans, the upbeat feeling that is emanating from Ibrox, Mr Green interacting with fans (but not in the 'I'm-going-to-steal-your-pocket-money-son' type of way that goes on elsewhere), investors itching to come on board ... you then go on to SPL boards and it's all, 'I cannae make the game because:-

a) Wife is pregnant and it's imminent! Is the game on telly or computer?

b) I have to work this weekend, so cannae make the game. Is the game on telly or computer?

c) I have to take Wee Princess Bernadette to a party/swimming/her real faither's. Is the game on telly or computer?

d) I live in Mongolia and my Yak is sick so cannae make the game this week. Is the game on telly or computer?

etc, etc.

Nae wonder Sellout Saturday was such a flop and the SPL is dying on its erse.

World record

If the new RFC was a general, he would be wearing huge eapulettes and have hunners of medals stuck on his breast.

Pity he comes from a sub-tropical swamp.

'Celtic fans epaulettes are chip shaped'

'who are these people? I demand to know who these people are' A. McCoist

'we've been punished enough' A McCoist

'kick us when we are down. But we will be back' A. McCoist

McCoist gives a whole new meaning to his 'chipper' persona.

They are delighted with the season ticket uptake.
