Scottish Football requires a strong Aberdeen, they are from a city in which the support isn't divided among a few teams. If they play well then they can draw the crowds.

Aberdeen are the worst of the worst. They have the wealthiest city economy in Scotland due to the oil and gas money, yet haven't managed to produce a team capable of mounting a serious challenge for over 20 years. The club managed to cheat relegation, but they and their fans now bang on about 'sporting integrity.' Their fans are the worst type of people you could ever hope to meet. They have a very backward carrot crunching mentality, the likes of which would have shamed Fred West. I'd rather see Celtic win the treble and win the CL than Aberdeen win any silverware.
