Levy and Harry need to get.....

...their thoughts away from the Olympic Stadium fiasco and whether Modric is staying or going and deal with more important issues:

we need some firepower up front

Crouch as got a much firepower as a wet match

Defoe is clearly lacking confidence

Keane - has not had what it takes for the last two season

Pav - possibly the best of a poor lot but fails to do it week in week out

IMHO Keane and one of Defoe/Crouch should be sold on for whatever we can get for them and get a decent striker that can net 20+ goals per season and then possibly look to bring Gio in more and possibly have a youngster on the bench for a few appearances now and again

I really do not want to see another season like last season when we were all too predictable meaning that goals were at a premium (I have not long ago finished watching the 2-DVD Review of 10-11 and it never held my enthusiasm like the previous season review disks did)

for the record - Modric can go, as its clear he wants to and as someone pointed out a few weeks ago, we have had better results with Hudd playing that when Modric is playing - and a return of 12 goals in 118 games for a supposed attacking midfielder is pretty damned poor
