That was quite simply a shocking performance after we went down to 10 men. My only personal take on it is that the new system coupled with losing a man killed us. It looked like the team was not sure what to do or how to play, and that will come but just not today.
Let the doomongers have their day, i KNOW we will get the system right but maybe with Agger out for 3 games the next games are all about sticking tight and kaming sure we dont lose. Keep calm, forget that game and move on.
BR has had 90mins of prem football with Liverpool, and that was with 10 men on his first Liverpool away day; i bet he learned more today than the past month at Anfield.

i thought we were ok before we went down to ten. we were unlucky to get in 1-0 down at half time. we could do nothing about the first goal. we came out second half and looked good. however after the slip from skrtel that led to the sending off, we were rubbish. some say its harder to play against 10 men. we were shocking. the lads gave up. we have no team spirit. thats what rodgers needs to work on.

Important not to overreact, it was one game after all. Let's see how Brendan and the team respond, mistakes are worth making if you learn from them. A bit of luck could've had a big impact but over the 90 minutes we simply were not good enough.

also lets hope assaidi is decent because we are crying out for a winger with quality as downing is shocking. sterling has to be given an opportunity at some stage as well
