haha, was it at least a believeable fight?

My only concern with Lesnar vs Undertaker is I can see the WWE writers thinking Brock is a good person to end the streak, and imho he isn't. He's too wooden, can't act, can't talk and can't wrestle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
As long as Vince has a say in the decision, the Undertaker's streak is the most predictable thing in both mainstream and independant wrestling today. There's been zero suspense value in any of his matches at Mania since 05. My issue would be Brock being his last competitor. Would be a slap in the face to HHH, HBK & Kane.

Brock left wwe after Vince had given him everything, i can't see Vince or Taker agreeing to lesnar ending the streak.

And you can see just how much that decision by Lesnar has affected Vince's judgement the last 7/8 years. That's a strong contributing factor imo why we've had to deal with this era defined by it's 'flash in the pan' stars ....... the Lashley's, Umaga's, Kennedy's, Nexus's, all these potential starlets who hit a glass ceiling and dropped back down to earth.

All of those left for different reasons. Lashley left to persue MMA, Umaga was released as he refused to go to rehab for his drug problem and kennedy was a dangerous injury prone worker. Non of them had anything to do with lesnar

While they were around, none of them broke through the mid-card cluster despite having ample opportunities. Lashley almost did it, Kennedy's momentum drowned after losing his MITB briefcase, Umaga never re-established the credibility he's gained within his first year. Then you have others like Carlito, Benjamin, MVP, etc...
The nature of Lesnar's departure seems to have lead McMahon down this overly cautious trend of grounding his superstars. In the time between Lesnar's absence and his comeback, i count five established main event players made, all bar the latest one are guys who've never worked for other companies (Cena, Orton, Edge, Batista, Punk).
It's just my casual observation, but it's interesting to ponder.

I can see what your saying but i wouldn't say it's to do with lesnar, they were just all mid carders, lashley could have been more if he had have stayed with the company, kennedy was injured so lost his mitb, rumours were that kennedy was going to have a big push but benoits death and then his injury put a stop to it

It may just be coincendence, lack of talent, etc... but as a trend continuing for this long makes it arouse suspicion. A wrestling monopoly which WWE is should be producing more main event regulars than that.

I think thats just the way it is, you can't have everyone up the top forever as they need to make room for others, whether they made the right decisions though about who stays at the top and who doesn't is a different matter
