Black, imo, has always been a good player, the thug in him constantly lets him down though. He could learn a thing or 2 about reeling it in from Scott Brown.
That said, and he probably had limited options, but signing for Rangers has not done his career any favours, being down amongst the hammer throwers is probably the last place he needs to be if he's to curb his fury.

The Armband and fatherhood has turned Broon into a man and a fine Captain.
Black is like Barton, good player but his rep destroys him.

I havent seen him make a bad tackle yet for the Gers. He got absolutely clattered yesterday as well- shoulda been a straight red.

Sadly, I can only agree with this . Aside from the Scott Broon part
Black actually isn't flinging himself into as many tackles as I thought he would be. Like all of today's 'hardmen' in footy, he's more bluster and bravado than anything else but he certainly can play a bit. When he's not getting crunched that is

aye black restrained himself well after that. The guy who clattered shiels should have walked aswell.
As could a few others for repeated handball and fouls in the box. The team didn't get frustrated and hassle the ref though they just got on with it
