Levante team and tactics:

---------------------------Vorm----------------------------

Van der Wiel---Carragher---Alderweireld----Sandro

--------------------Ballack-------Allen---------------------

Walcott-----------------Sigurdsson----------------John

--------------------------Van Wolfswinkel----------------

Subs:
Munua, Juanfran, Vertoghen, Dyer, Gattuso, Maher, Sigborsson

Tactics:
We're gonna have a right good go at trying to win this game. We plan to attack Barcelona's young side. With Walcott and John on the wings we have pace to exploit the Barcelona full backs. Starting at the back we have Vorm in goal he needs to be big, strong and commanding. Van der Wiel and Sandro are to overlap Walcott and John when we go forward. Carragher and Alderwield are to be big and strong in their tackles and make sure their command the area when getting players into shape. Ballack is to sit back and allow Allen to go and help out going forward. Ballack needs to protect his back four. Allen is gonna be a box to box player for us today. Sigurdsson is to try and support Van Wolfswinkel as much as he can. He like Walcott and John will need to use his pace when going forward. Van Wolfswinkel is to hold the ball up and draw our midfield into him and help us going forward. Sigurdsson, Walcott and John need to make sure he isn't iscolated up top on his own.

Subs:
Maher on for Ballack (65 mins)
Sigborsson on for Van Wolfswinkel (70 mins)
Dyer on for John (75 mins)

Set pieces:
Freekicks: Sigurdsson
Pens: Van Wolfswinkel
Corners: John

Bilbao vs MALAGA

-----------------------------------Cavani---------------------------------

RB: Nathaniel Clyne

We will look to remain solid throughout the game defensively, and whilst it's a cup game, it's a game I want to win. We have Agger and Howedes at Center-back, and they must remain solid up against some good strikers. They will win every ball and win every 50-50 duel, as we want to keep a clean sheet. Our aim in this game is to look to supply our main striker, Cavani, and as he has shown the world, his finishing is second to none, so we will look to our midfield to supply Cavani with those chances that he will finish off. Lucas and Schwein in the centre of the Park offer creativity from CM, and both of their passing skills are top notch. Lucas will be the more defensive of the 2 CM’s. He will prevent Bilbao from breaking out on the counter. Lucas and Schwein will be the ones to supply Cavani with those long, cross field passes that will split the Bilbao defence. Just in front of them is the Classy Reus, and he will get up to support Cavani from AM. His trickery and cleverness will be a great asset in helping us unlock a stubborn defence, and with Schwein and Lucas behind, he should have no lack of support. Up front Cavani, Neymar and Suarez are 3 great Wingers/Strikers, and together, they should prove to be a right handful for the Bilbao defence. They also will have great support, as Schwein’s great raking through balls, and Reus’ exquisite vision really will cut through the Bilbao defence. Also with Reus, the Maestro in the team, just behind in the #10 role, he will be up to support them, and feed the ball to them from close range, and Cavani/Neymar/Suarez should finish them of.

Subs:
65min IF WINNING: Strootman on for Lucas, new engine, replace tired legs

Holtby on for Reus, Holtby great passer, feed the likes of Neymar, Suarez and Cavani

Change to get revenge on Sevilla!

Ceni
Arbeloa Varane Nacho Coentrao
Alonso Yacob
Robben Gotze Ribery
Niang

Subs:
Thiago, Riquelme, Jese, Juanfran, Mateos, Alex.

Ceni will command his area and the back 4. He will be strong in the air from crosses and look to distribute the ball to the full backs. He will make himself big for any one-on-ones and try and stay on his feet.

The full backs will have a bit of freedom to push forward but will mainly stay back and defend. They will be strong in the tackle and will try and show their winger onto their weaker foot. They will do their upmost to stop crosses coming into the box.

The centre backs will be strong in the air and strong in the tackle. They, along with the full backs, will need to work as a unit to move forward and backwards. Varane will man mark their striker and try and keep him out of the game, he will try and stick with his movement and stop him getting the ball.

The CM's will look to retain possession for us and then distribute balls out wide. They will be strong in the tackle. They will both be given a little freedom to push forward.

The 3 AMs will interchange over the course of the game to try and confuse the opposition defence. The wingers will look to get beyond the man and get balls into the box for Niang or cut inside and have a shot at goal/pass it. They will all be looking to help Niang up front so at times one of them will push further forward to make a front 2 with him. None of them will be afraid to shoot from distance but must play the simpler pass if it's on.

Niang will look to make a nuisance of himself by making lots of runs in and around the opposition defence. He will look to defend from the front, closing their defence down and trying to force them into a mistake. He will look for lots of through balls and balls into the box for him. He won't be afraid to shoot from distance.

Subs:
If losing/drawing:
Thiago > Yacob on 60'. He will look to be a create play for us from deep.

---------------Courtois
Richards—Godin—Vermaelen—Felipe
----------Sahin---Suarez
RVP----------Kagawa-------Podolski
----------------Falcao

Turan for Podolski 75’
Salvio for RVP 80’

Game Plan: I want us to get the ball to our front four as quick as possible. We must play with a fast tempo and create a general attacking flow. We must keep the ball on the ground and pass the ball quickly but with some general finesse. I want our team to play the ball into space and use their skills, pace and strength to work the ball forward.

The two full backs must use their strength and pace to push their wingers out wide and keep them out the game. They must not be able create many if not any proper opportunities for the strike force. Do not allow them to make runs into the box. They are allowed to go forward. Godin must mark the tallest striker giving him no space and use his strength to push him away from the ball. Vermaelen must clear away the ball that comes from out wide or any other direction. If there is 2 strikers playing he must mark the other striker Godin isn’t.

Sahin and Suarez should try to control possession by supplying the ball to the front 4. Sahin can attack a bit but Suarez must stay with their main playmaker. RVP and Podolski should try and act as inside forwards by running into the box and therefore create a mini 3 player strike force. Kagawa should try and run in from all directions creating opportunities for the front 3 players. Falcao should just get into space and look to be in goalscoring positions. Lead the defenders away so the others have more space to run in. The front 4 should swap positions every now and then.
