nah, tremlett ahead of anderson? u cant put a bowler who has barely played 15 tests ahead of a player that has played 60+ tests.
longetivity is also a key to becoming a gd bowler

Thinking the same thing, never mind not being in this top 10 Gough would be right near the top of this list. He was comfortably England's best bowler throughout the late 90s and early 2000s.

I think you have to have a cap on how long. Harmison was good in 2004 - That is it.

Personally, Anderson, Gough, Flintoff and Broad.

Tremlett would be a definate but hardly played.

yeah, it's obviously very subjective, depending not least on what critieria you apply.

i will always think of angus fraser very highly. he was never the same bowler after injuring his hip very early in his international career. after the injury he was a very good bowler, before it he was a bit special.

i wonder also how devon malcolm would get on today. people talk about hick and ramprakash, but in some ways malcolm was just as talented.

i also think that andy caddick is very underrated, as he could be devastating when his mind was in the right place. perhaps another one to add to the list of players who england didnt get the most out of.

anderson num1, great bowler for a sustained period all the other top england bowlers had a good few series here and there
