First ever use of video replay

At our place yesterday.

Anyone else see Webb give a corner when Tevez kicked it out, second half? There was no way it was ever a corner, you could see that from the other end of the pitch where I was sat, but he gave it none the less... Then some (now jobless) numpty showed the replay on the big screens before the corner was taken and Webb changed his mind pointing for a goal kick.

First use of video replay in football history?

Spurs got in trouble for it when they first had a screen installed, they had a few decisions reversed when the ref saw the replay.

We had a goal given against us at Selhurst Park (Palace), after nobody knew wether the ball had crossed the line, the ref looked up and saw on the screen that it had, and gave the goal!
We were going mental and if I remember rightly not long after it the live game being played on the screens was banned!
