We need someone like Fellaini. He was the difference today and I can only imagine how many teams we would dominate if he was in our team.
Nani was just as frustrating as he 9/10 times is. Sir Alex must be going mental at him right now.
If we could get £20-£25 million for him would you all be happy to sell him and use the money on a player that is extremely necessary for us this season (and the past 3) ?
Sell Nani to fund Fellaini?

I'm only suggesting it because Nani hasn't signed a new contract yet. I'd imagine there is a realistic chance he may be sold.

Stop crossing the ball???
Stop playing the way we've played for the last twenty five years with the boss?
Never going to happen. The problem today was the crosses were awful and too slow coming in. We gave their defence time to settle for every cross.

Stretty, how many times did we lump the ball
downfield tonight only for Distin or Jageilka to win
it easily?

Loool we just bought kagawa! Rvp to bench the only half decent target man on the team in welbeck so we can play pretty football on the ground and your genius plan is to buy a player who thrives on direct football? All because of a loss.

I just don't see the point of getting the ball out wide and crossing it back in. Most defences cut that ball out and its wasted when we have strikers like ours.
Kagawa is useless in a team whose sole aim is to get the ball out wide. We have the personnel to keep the ball on the ground and we should start trying to play that way and keep possession.

People rave about Fellaini but he is a bit overrated.
How to deal with a threat like Fellaini? Simple: play a high line and have Vidic attack the ball and mark him on the few occasions they breach ?
How many times did that happen? And stop crossing the ball? Come on!
Kagawa showing us the future? I am waiting for him to part the red sea with his staff so that we can see what he sees.

Be fair, Kagawa's passes were far better than most of what we saw last season but we need full commitment to play that way rather than just lazily passing the ball out wide and hoping that the oppositions defence make a mistake when we pump the ball in.

Give us the reason why it's kneejerk?
--------------------------------------------
Really? I really need to do that?
It is knee jerk because it is one game, one performance.

Knee jerk! Everton played well and run themselves into the ground but Moyes likes a big long ball side and Felliani is a good target man. Not our style. I don't mind knee jerk reactions when we get continually outplayed by Barca. They are showing a new style of football that we have to look towards. Copying Everton is going backwards! It's just a one off game where they played well

Wouldn't sell Nani, but i would sell Berba or use him in a deal to get Fellaini. Rob is right, we've been screaming and creaming for him all summer and tonight was a slight insight as to why!
