We will.. mark my words.. Give man city a game and get a result. I can just feel it. Sunday was a bad day but there were many positives such as joe allen. 97% pass completion rate and .. only 6% were passes that were only passed back to defenders.. So the rest were passes that joe allen looked up and passed foward to west broms half. This was the main reason we looked really dangerous going foward because of joe allens link up play.. We just couldnt finish .. Believe me.. this sunday we will crank it up and put that bstard ball into that bstard net and give city a hiding.. they did not look good defensively against southampton.. so we are going to exploit it.. big time

I'm more nervous playing against the likes of WBA, Norwich and Swanswa than I am about playing Utd, City and Chelsea. We always seem to do ok against the big clubs especially at Anfield.
I hope Skrtel has a blinder and I'm praying Aguero is injured. Carra v Dzeko is better than Carra v Aguero.

Carra is very bad against tall strikers. Even at his peak he always struggled. I do hope Brendan play Coates..

This game could be just what Liverpool need to kick their season off,the last few anfield matches against City have certainly brought out the best in them recently.We will almost certainly be without Aguero on sunday meaning Carragher and Skrtel will have Tevez as the focal point and the runners in behind to worry about,which could be of greater concern than the traditional problem of marking a centre forward.
I think we will change the formation from Sunday back to 3 at the back using wing backs to make it a 5 when needed

Losing(though very painful) to West Brom may have been a multi-pronged blessing in disguise; if we lose to city it won't be a 'very' big deal and a win will be more appreciated without driving expectations over board. A draw will be ok. The loss has also made fsg avail funds and we might see three new signings soon.(rumours)
Most of us are now more realistic of our chances this season after the loss. We now know that it will take time,patience, support and finances to get us to top four.
The bitters(fair play to them though) won last night and are now 3points, ahead of us. They will win the pl after beating united.
