Well hopefully he can get some games this season and it's good for our striking options where we lack strength in depth.

I'm sure hemmings has been banging in goals for quite some time for the reserves, or what there is of the reserves anyway.

To be honest our youth system seems to be working well these days.

We do seem to have a bit of a conveyor belt of youth players happening now, which can only be a good thing given our financial status compared to England.

Hopefully some of the Coisty magic rubs off on the boy Hemmings Goal and an assist, more than Flecks managed in about two seasons

I can't see what's all the fuss about fleck. I have never seen a performance that would make me believe he is anything more than an average player.

Hammer to be fair Fleck has only been played in his correct position (in the hole behind the striker) once that I can remember, so it's hardly his fault. When he did play there he scored and set up a goal. Then was dropped the next game. He needs a run in his correct position.

Smith played him as a winger, which is not his position at all. Square pegs and round holes. One of Walters biggest faults IMO was trying to stick players all over the place.

Castle, fair point.

Still feel though that if Walter was confident in him, he would have played him in his desired role. Maybe though he was never going to get a chance playing in behind strikers, with the way Walter sets up his team.

Wonder if the young right back Cole will get more of a chance this season as well. He seemed decent enough against Man Utd and with Foster off, he may be worth an odd shout after Whittaker.

Dont think I have seen Fleck doin anythin for us ever, apart from the pk against United. I dont think there'll ever be a position for him at Ibrox,as his position isnt one that gets played, unless they try usin it in Europe. Apparently he showed up well there last pre-season,then got injured and disappeared for a year. Punt him out on loan I'd say. On Cole, kinda wondered about him,Hammer, seemed to get his break then just vanish Think I read on 606 that he was in the process of beefin up to be a centre half, dont know how much truth there is in that

read that we have been retraining young cole as a cb.

Also thought he looked ok when he played in cl. Thought it was bursaspor tho, not man utd?

Good point DC76 surely there must be a team in Europe with a good team playing top or second division within a large ex-pat community.

La Liga, Budasliga?
