Told Sahin will be season-long loan with no clause to buy, but first option if Madrid sell. Arsenal pay wages and €2m loan fee
abit disappointing really
No option to buy

We will get him sooner or later when he realises what a great club he's at. Plus we have first refusal, that is great too

Wtf so we pay his full wages, as well as coach him and allow him to use our facilities so he can regain form for real. We should only pay him for the games he plays, the rest should be reals problem. I personally dont agree to any of this, just seems a waste of time. May be if we were desperate witha last minute final day purchase like yossi. But we have time to buy a player and get him established in out team seeing that we have just let go of our most experienced midfielder in wearing the arsenal shirt.

exactly. wenger must really rate sahin if he is willing to pay his wages and loan fee

Wenger has always rated Sahin, ever since he was the star in an international youth tournament for Turkey back in 2005. Story goes that he's wanted him since then.

If wenger rated & wanted Sahin 7yrs ago, why did he have to wait for Dortmund & Real to beat him to it.

He came through Dortmund's youth system. They had no intention of selling him, considering his absurd talent for a teenager. I think he still holds the records for being the youngest player and goalscorer in Bundesliga history.
The Real deal, if you remember, came completely out of the blue. There was no news, no real rumours, then all of a sudden, Madrid announced they were signing him. They just gazumped everyone.
