Play Poldoski & Giroud in attack.

Having watched our game against Sunderland, I would say that I am quite disappointed with our attacking opportunities. I thought wenger would have started with both Podolski & Giroud in attack but he opted for only one. Imo this is a huge mistake. We need to change our formation from tired, old 4-3-3 & utilise 4-4-2 more often, especially when we are playing at home.

If wenger persists on playing only 1 striker then i fully expect more results like the one we got on saturday. Our attack was slow, predictable & very lethargic. We need to start more matches with our new strikers. We need to realise that the presence of an extra striker draws away defenders. The top teams in EPL (manchester clubs) always start with 2 strikers & if we hope to end our trophylessness we should follow suit too.

I have always believed that wenger's over reliance on RVP & leaving Chamahk on the bench always led to the moroccan being utter $hite now. We shouldnt allow the same happen to Giroud as hes clearly far from the finished product & needs to play more often.

Big man small man attack

That would then require a question...

Could Podolski play left midfield?

Yeh, both players wasn't able to complete the 90mins, so there were not many options for substituting both players

We should play more matches with Giroud & Podolski starting up front together

They are our best strike force & imo it doesnt make any sense with one on the bench while the other plays

We've had one match, when both weren't fit.

I'm confident both will play together a lot this season

@ London Dave
Agree. They will when they are both fit

shall we give them 10 games to get used to the league, country, weather, food, language, team, pitch, opposition, then judge them, maybe?

And please, 4-4-2 is Dalgleish's favourite formation. This is not the '80s. 4-4-2 does not work anymore.

Wengers gonna always play one of the two, then if we need a goal, he'll bring the other one on, we all know thats how he works. 4-4-2 is dead, ask Roy Hodgson!

If 4-4-2 is dead then we are really in the $hite.....
