Reports coming out of kuwait suggest that striker Bader al Mutawa is the only kuwaiti trialist to be granted a work permit and will sign for forest. I personaly cant wait to see him play, what does everyone else think?

Sorta makes you think the owners didn't really do their homework, doesn't it? First they assumed the great and good of football management would jump at the chance to take over at Forest, then were forced to take on the only one who would touch it with a bargepole. Now the main point of the whole thing, trying to force Kuwaitis into mainstream football, is also failing at the first hurdle.
Shoulda thought it through. Ah well, they bought it for nowt, so it's not as if they're going to lose anything when they up sticks and leave.

I see a lot of words, yet strangely they say nothing. I guess your fingers needed the exercise.

I am disappointed, firstly because it would have been nice to have seen what he is capable of and secondly, for less footballing reasons, having the golden boy of Middle-Eastern football could have opened up the largly untapped commercial market in that area.
I can sort of understand the reasons for not allowing the work permit because Kuwait are not in the top 70 ranked sides but on the flip side if players from these countries are not allowed to play against better players in better leagues they will never progress.
