CM Punk vs. Vince McMahon for the WWE Championship (NO-DQ)
Typical Vinnie Mac match, Punk dominates large portions of it until Kevin Nash and various others come out and attack Punk. Having various points in the match where Punk kicks out at two. Just as it looks as if Punk is on the brink, The Nexus emerge from the crowd to pile up the ring turning it into a massive brawl, which is soon enhanced by local police entering in the middle to arrest Nexus members and those in the melee who assaulted them. All this diverts the inferring superstars away from the ring besides Kevin Nash who places Punk into the jack knife position, when a battered John Cena clubs him with a kendo stick at the knees and the back, forcing him to the ground when he applies the STF. And just before Vince hits Cena in the back of the neck, Punk catches him with a kick to the face and secures the victory… CM Punk exits the ring, grabs the mic, and with Vince begging in front of him says this:
(Rough paraphrasing, obviously Punk would have his own charismatic touches on it)
“It’s ok, Vince. I have no intention of walking away from WWE, I never have. I’m not in talks with anyone and never have been, not that my phone hasn’t stopped ringing. However, what I’ve actually wanted all this time is an end to the very thing which made this ruse so easy for me. Everything from the moment you suspended me two months ago to that “administrative error" in my paperwork last night I saw coming a mile away, and that’s the problem. And despite risking my livelihood in the hands of two matches against Cena at MITB and HHH last night, what I want for all of that has been worth it. I knew you’d never see sense; never see all your shortcomings without me using my contract expiration to hold your company hostage. Having to dangle your title in front of your face like a cat clawing at a string, and while part of me has been tempted by the love I’ve received from everyone besides you the past few months, I’ve never lost sight of my objective and neither has everyone that’s followed me into this lion’s den. Last night after my match, I paid John Cena a visit, and while we’ve never seen eye to eye, my ultimate goal managed to give him the motivation to risk his health and appear here tonight. The one person you’d have had fighting your corner on this a month ago you alienated because of your inability to see your failures. I love the WWE Vince, but I can’t be here as it is. I’ll re-sign with WWE and re-legitimise your WWE Title on two conditions, 1) Along with myself, you reinstate Nexus and Daniel Bryan including his MITB briefcase, and 2) To save your company, you sacrifice yourself. I WANT YOUR RESIGNATION VINCE"
And voila
This’ll be my last one of these for awhile
The Summer of Punk Rebooked (Part 4)

With have been a bit too much though. Returning past wrestlers for just one match of note and too many twists and turns that will probably confuse the majority younger audience.
I also feel theres too less of the main man....Punk.
I think i speak for everyone when i say we all love when Punk comes out with his brash mouth and starts dissing everyone in sight.
Other than that brilliant read and good write up
Love your mini-blogs

I didn't watch the actual summer of Punk so I can't compare yours to the actual events but I enjoyed reading this, nonetheless.

Neither did i, just read up about it. The signing of the contract on the ROH belt, etc...
This is supposed to directly compare to what WWE did last year

I'm way too hungover to read it all but I gave you five stars because you always put a decent piece together anyway.
Long live the wrongly used wrestling board!
