Van Der Vaart next out?

According to reports in germany VDV is the next man to leave, 12million to hamburg, apparently as good as done

If we allow Rafa to leave then i really will start to get worried

Dunno fi this will happen, but owuld obviously be a loss. Having said that, Sigurdsson is a good young replacement for him I guess?

it would leave us with only 1 AM option wouldnt it ?

He is one of our best players. this would be an absolute travesty. He loves the club, the fans love him and he always delivers. Look at how well he did for a poor dutch team in the Euros. He was the stand out player when he came on and scored a beautiful goal. We need players of his calibre

He's getting on now so Levy would want to cash in now and use the cash to sign a younger player like Willian.

that's 1 player i would hate for us to sell please let this be just rumours

Definitely a top player, would be a big loss for Spurs and the PL, although I wouldn't be sad to see him go, he always scores against Arsenal

After Modric, he IS your best player.

If you guys sell him then I'd be extremely happy.

Not surprised at all - Willian isn't a Modric replacement, is he? He and Sigs are AM, and he can cover the wings too.

Rafa is never 100% because of his hamstring problems, and very controversial medical treatment, and at 29 if we could get a decent fee in and get someone younger and quicker...well you can see the appeal for Levy and AVB, even if we the fans love him. Also he demands to be a starter, but would he always be under AVB? And what would the effect on the dressing room of an unhappy VDV?

Not surprised at all.

The dominoes are being arranged, whether or not they all fall in line - and they need to - before next Friday is the make-or-break question.

Never a dull moment eh?!
