Give them some technology to help them. It works in other sports.

And stop pretending there is a pro-United bias. Considering the length of time United's tricky wingers and forwards spend in the opposition penalty area, we get remarkably few penalties.

worst was peter walton or the new one who disallowed an everton goal when playing advantage to pull it back for a freekick on the edge of the box that ref doesnt even look at the play spends most his time looking at the grass. not the good kind either.

As an Ex referee, I sympathise with the top referees...............they have their decisions scrutined from every possible angle by cameras & yet when they make the decision it is from one angle only.

The main gripe I have about top referee's is regarding when a corner or free kick is being taken, how can they allow the man handling that goes on in the penalty area? It could soon be stopped by awarding penalties or cautions followed by red cards...........

I can only think they have had instructions to not take too much action against these offences, otherwise their place on the Elite list might not be guaranteed!
