Paul Caddis

Looking at him on a loan deal. More cover for right back is a good thing. Carr must still be a way off being fit. I hope he's not finished. The defence always looks better when he's playing.

Just read this article...

http://www.gazetteandherald.co.uk/sport/swindontown/news/9890378.Caddis_set_for_Birmingham_switch_/

Swindon fans seem to rate him and he is only leaving because of a bust up with Paulo DiCanio.

Could be a good long term replacement for Carr who is 147 years old i think.......

BigEck,

You're confusing Carr's age with the maximum break in snooker.

I think you'll find that he's actually 180.

Swindon fan in peace.

I think I speak for the majority of Swindon fans when I say this is the last thing we want. He's fallen out with Di Canio and it seems to have gone beyond reconciliation, no-one knows why.

Last season he was the best RB in League 2 by a country mile and was in the League 2 team. He was our captain, scored a few goals from RB, and performed superbly all season. He can play right midfield too.

In addition to all this he's a model professional.

We're all scratching our heads about this. In your position I'd snap him up, I'm sure you'll end up wanting him permanently.

Good luck for the season.

strange as newsnow has virtually nothing about this story (just the one i posted above), but it seems to definately be happening

It's all over our local press, seems it's going to happen.

Forgot to mention he's also Captain of Scotland U21s

If the deal goes through as expected, I think he will be a very useful addition to the squad. Lets hope he can come in and quickly make the rb position his. He sounds a very similar player to Carr, with his runs down the wing. He will be good support for Burke. KRO.

Lee Clark has again said today he can't sign players unless someone leaves or we get an unusual amount of injuries, looks like this one wont be happening

Apparently he wouldn't call Di Canio 'Il Duce' nor do the 'special,straight-arm' salute in training,it was simply a matter of time!
