Are we stronger or weaker?

So, on various forums their are a number of debates on whether Spurs are currently stronger or weaker than we were last season. Our current squad is:

GK: Brad, Cudicini, Gomes
RB: Walker, Naughton
CB: Gallas, Kaboul, Vert, Caulker, Daws
LB: Benny, Rose
RW: Lennon, Bentley, Gio
LW: Townsend, Bale, Gio
DM: Sandro, Parker, Livermore
CM: Jenas, Carroll
AM: VDV, Sigurddson
ST: Ade, JD, Kane.

GK- we are as we were = No change,

FB - In terms of full-backs the only notable change is the addition of Naughton. There are many complaints about the loss of Corluka (not in AVB's reign I know), but I feel in this system Naughton is more suited. = Stronger in depth.

CB's - This one is a key point for debate, we have lost King, who was dead on his feet last season and replaced him with Vert, who is unproven in the PL but notably very good on the ball. One positive I see from this is that we will not have a consistent CB pairing and that for me is everything = Stronger

Wingers - as we were with wingers = same

CM - Defensively we have a fully fit Sandro, which is always good, plus we have a lot of depths, going forward we have ermm... Jenas. So unless we play to CDM all of the time we are looking weaker. If we replace Modric adequately then we might be okay, this role I feel is vital to any success this season= At present weaker

ST - We have lost Saha and gained Kane, Saha at present is better than Kane but Kane has room for improvement. = weaker in depth.

So we have trimmed our squad and people are complaining that we have lost a lot of depth. If you look at our squad and add a striker and creative midfield in my opinion we will be better than last season, if not then I don't think we will be any worse. We have lost players that don't fit in to our system and reduced our wage bill.

Obviously there are opposite opinions to me so let's have a debate.. over to you.
