if Torres and Sturridge don't have us sitting near the top of the league by Jan, Cavani will definately be signed.
The reasoning is simple.
He won't be CL cup tied and it gives a chance to both the above to prove themselves.
I think everyone can stop getting excited that we may sign a striker this window.
Move along, theres nothing to see here!
Just my tuppence,
Cheers

Sheriff..........
I don't think we will, i do think the club has decided to put all its eggs in one basket with Torres/Sturridge.
Despite my criticism of Torres, I can't really see how he can fail to score 20 league goals this season with the midfield we now have, but a better striker would score more and our biggest mistake in recent years was missing out on Tevez & Aguero. We were on the verge of getting Tevez and pulled out and we were constantly linked with Aguero, two massive misses for us.

You just made me think of Terry Waite, years ago i saw a brilliant play about the Lebanon hostages tied to radiators one of the most awesome plays I have ever seen, can't remember what it was called now.

I'd have let him have visitors though!!

Chelsea don't have any world class strikers, in fact as it stands this is the weakest the club has been in terms of strikers for absolute years.

There are no world class players in this squad yet.
