I agree that we need a goalscorer but Cavani! Its not oing to happen, we cant afford it and with no CL football he would never come to us. It does not have to be a out and out striker anyway in fact a versatile player like Dempsey who can interchange and score would be an excellent fit but I have a slightly nasty feeling that the deal is dead in the water, Still another attacking player who can finish and is versatile is a must. Sahin could be a masterstroke but I wonder where he will fit in? Maybe on the right flank or maybe he will take Gerrard's position and Gerrard will be one of the attacking 3?

Swap Andy Carroll with Darren Bent, either on loan or perm!

Huntelaar would be a dream but is unrealistic, would have to pay a lot for him and he is 29 now
