I didn't get to listen to the game today but from what I'm reading, we sounded like the better side but were unlucky again.
How did Pearson sound after the match?

Upbeat but frustrated. Lambasted officials for their first and our disallowed one, but accepted we need to take responsibility for our own results.
I think he'll sound a bit different if we don't beat Blackpool.

Still think he needs to have a different starting 11.
Have to be more clinical.

I'm not so sure Spoonfox - though only change to the starting 11 I'd make would be Knockaert in for Dyer and I suspect it's only a matter of time before Pearson makes that switch.
Before the match I might've said Beckford in for Vardy too but I was really impressed by Jamie today. I thought NP should've brought Jermaine on much earlier today but to replace Nugent, who didn't have his best game.
Hopefully SSL will be back soon to shore up the defence, but other than that I think the team we put out today was pretty much the strongest available to us.

Madness I agree completely . We and the team just need to keep some confidence in our ability.

For me Nugent was one of our best and most consistant players and needs I be the main striker.
Beckford has played well so far and I think it was wrong to bench him.
Ok so saying a different starting 11 is extreme but definitely Nugent & Beckford up front and Knockaert in for Dyer from the start.

I went to the game today and saw real progress from last year. I definitely stick by my belief in Pearson and think he's building a very good side.
I hope he gets the time to mould this side into what I think could be a promotion worthy team.

We are still letting in far too many cheap goals, nigel saw the same problem in second half of last season, he said it himself, he was going to "sort it out"...he has had all the close season to address the problem but it appears its not been cured..misfiring forwards and leaking defence = mid table again...having unfit defenders who were not ready for the start of the season is down to him..not bad luck .. giving teams a head start and having to play catch up is not good enough on our outlay..

To be honest I agree. I'm getting fed up of people talking like we are some kind of work in progress. This is it. The owners want promotion this season, thats why they got rid of Sven. Nigel had the summer and the second half of last season to start shaping the squad he wanted. No excuses for starting the season short on defensive options, we dont have enough quality cover...
Lets get real, yes the side has promise, yes the performances are better, but the results are the same and they cannot afford to be. Make no mistake, he won't be given the full season to build a team, the owners are not that patient...

I think all the able comments are justified. We cannot get rid now, that would be pointless as you just feel it is about to click.
However the longer it goes on the less confidence the players will have and we have a pretty tough run of games coming up, if we don't collect a fair degree of points then the knives will be out!
I do think though that Pearson could and should have done something at the back, Whitbread has never played a consistent amount of games and whist he may be good he is likely to be in and out of the team. This is Pearsons team now and he has to deliver, no more excuses Nige!

A few points
a) we are much better than last season at this point - we actually look like a team. We are creating chances. Unfortunately we have made 3 defensive errors in 2 games which have resulted in 3 goals
b) We have to stick with Pearson - a change and we're back to square one. I've seen much more team spirit this tear and that's down to Pearson
c) This team is work in progress - it will only get better
d) You can't account for poor decisions by officia;s - I firmly believe if Vardy's 'goal' had stood we would have won.
e) A few players aren't going to here come 31st (I can see Gally, Waghorn, Danns and Beckford all leaving)
