-> Chelsea at home kept the ball well but couldn't score from open play,a set piece that mata sent in was headed in by terry on the hour mark.
-> Bayern won the ball well and attacked with purpose all game but Chelsea held on until the 88th minute when Ribery got away from Kaboul after cutting in and curling one into the bottom corner

-> PSG high pressure payed off in the beginning by snatching a goal through lavezzi, good hold up play from ibrahimovic, played a one two and lavezzi with a cool finish in the box.

-> As the Game wore on Man Utd held the ball well and the effort PSG put in got to them, tired and Nani and RVP managed to get two goals late on.

Arsenal 2-2 Man City

-> Man City went all out attack that was a strange move away from home and having vidal,khedira and busuets encouraged to move further forward wasn't their strongest point which left City exposed which Arsenal could counter, it was end to end stuff, breathtaking, City struck first, Arsenal got two goals on the break and Man City got a equaliser at the death for their attacking football.

Chelsea 1-1 Bayern

For two teams with such attacking talent, this match was very tight and the creative players on both sides struggled to find space.
Chelsea took the lead through Torres following some neat play from Mata.
Bayern equalised through a powerful header from Gomez from a Ribery corner.

Man Utd 1-0 PSG
A very attractive 1-0 victory for Man Utd, but they had to work hard for it.
Kagawa with the goal from distance after being played into space by Iniesta.

Arsenal 1-1 Man City
Although Man City may have had the stronger line up on paper, their defensive midfielders struggled to adapt to their additional attacking duties, which a well balanced Arsenal took advantage of.
Carzola scored a beautiful goal from just outside the box, whilst a piece of inidividual magic from David Silva saw the away team grab an equaliser.

Chelsea 1-4 Bayern

Bayern outclass Chelsea in every single position. Especially in midfield Gerrard, Kaka and Martinez were massively outclassed by De Rossi, Alonso and Schweinsteiger. Chelsea weren't much better at the back with Walker often getting run ragged by Ribery.

Perhaps the only position Chelsea were stronger in was GK, LB and possibly CB. Mata would need to be somewhere else on the pitch as he's wasted on the right compared to the left, or centre.

Man U 1-1 PSG

Once again, I thought united edged most positions, except perhaps LB and maybe CF. However, United were very unbalanced with a front three that doesn't like to defend bar Rooney and Iniesta and Kagawa not particularly good defensively in the middle. Smalling at RB seemed to stand out as a weakness for me.

PSG had a better balance which got them a point, although the formation might want looking at, and perhaps sacrifice Benzema or Ibra for a quality number 10.


Arsenal 0 - 0 City

Both teams are so defensive, despite City's tactics both teams easily coped with each other's attacks with such numbers behind the ball. City's attacking three of Ozil Silva and Aguero were far too one dimensional and narrow to really penetrate a well organised and defensive side like Arsenal.

Smalling vs Lavezzi was always going to be tough and it was this mis match that lead to the PSG goal as he bombed past the young defender and found the bottom corner.

Arsenal 0 - 2 Man City

City's attack was far greater than Arsenal, and with the defensive midfield being able to turn over possesion quickly it was quite a routine victory for City today
