I feel we'll actually see the best of benny when he's given more of villas's 'freedom to make decisions' this season. Today, he was the most lively player, dribbling, flicking, backheeling, shooting(though off target) and being a general nuisance for the pompey players. He hasn't played with torres or sturridge so far this preseason but i feel he'll strike up excellent understanding with these two and flourish next season.

Im suprised he has not been given time with Torres in the 2 games given their history at Liverpoo.
He certainly looks lively and with a point to prove and i said last season he genuinally happy to be here and thats good enough for me

It's good to see him get a game, I think he will make a good impact player for us and help with tge creativity side of things which we've been lacking in

benny deserves a chance in the first team. we missed someone like him last year. it was the same predictable midfield last season and he adds that kind of 'unpredictability' that we severely lacked last time. you never know what hes gonna do next with his flicks and tricks
