Its obvious Mancini is not happy with the squad he has and looks increasingly annoyed.
Those that run the club have every reason to try and balance the books but at the same time City risk standing still.Bobby is a strange coach because he doesnt seem to want to use players that dont fit in with his team plans but I guess all managers I like that see Sir Alex and Berbatov or Wenger and Arshavin.
So you have a mess where players like Santa Cruz and Bridge draw huge salaries when they cant even be used as squad players.
Mancini knows he cant compete in the champions league with this squad and what makes it more interesting is I believe barcelona and madrid are beatable this season, especially Barca.
No better opportunity than to capitalise and I am sure Fergie is ready to improve united in europe.
So who can City realistically buy to make them at least reach the semis in europe?
Some have mentioned Javi Martinez but watching him at the olympics he is so slow and City need someone to up the tempo in central midfield thats why they insist that they wont give up on Derossi.
I cant think of many central midfielders with the technical ability, drive and experience other than Derossi and the bonus is the italian brings goals as well.
I think City will make a huge bid and like most italian teams, Roma will cave in and take the money. A central defender will be bought, no idea who but Kolo just looks terrible and given the money City have you would think a cheeky bid for Alaba, the Bayern Munich left back as an understudy to Clichy.
Selling Johnson could be a disaster unless Miner raises his game however if ever there was a player who would have improved City beyond doubt its gareth Bale.He has the directness and deliveries City lack to get the best out of Dzeko and mario.
mario doesnt look ready to me, needs a lot of work in the trainning fground on maintaining positional discipline in the 18 yard box.The only box striker City have is Dzeko but he is so profilgerate its depressing.
It will be an interesting 5 days till trasfer deadline day.
Which players can realisticaly improve City

It's obviously a little confusing for the rags, they think they have the monopoly on injured players.

Under 11s.

Maybe they would, perhaps Fergie could draft a couple of lads in as you've only got 3 fit players in your squad at the moment.

Vidic has scored more goals than Balotelli. Fahkt.
ManU really missed him last season. Could have been the 20th.

"You mean it took two massive errors to deny Liverpool the points?"
Liverpool's first goal was a great header but gifted by terrible City defending.
City's first goal was a smart finish but gifted by terrible defending.
Liverpool's second goal was a great hit but it was never a freekick in the first place. An error by the Ref.
City's second goal was a great finish but gifted by a Liverpool error.
So basically, all four goals came from errors of a sort and for all the supposed domination, Liverpool did not score from open play and the stats don't back up the domination theory.
Liverpool played well and couldn't win the game, City didn't play that well but didn't lose it. I know what I prefer
I would have taken a point at the start and am happy ( and maybe a tad relieved) to get it

Surely all goals come from some kind of error? If no errors were made by either side then it would be 0-0. Come on, I know it's the Tuesday after Bank Hol, but what a ridiculous comment.

The point was that it wasn't just massive errors by Liverpool that lead to them conceding, as highlighted in the opening para that someone had posted.
I very much regret that you were not able to see that.
I also regret that you have to slag off your own fans
