Cant for the life of me see why would be chasing Doyle. He'll be over priced, score less than ten goals a season and create nothing. All he does is work hard closing down defenders much like beattie did. Surely it would be better to have Owen off the bench with no fee and prob similar wages?

I can't see how he would improve the 1st team, or the bench for that matter. If we need someone to close down defenders, Vic would do that job as well as anyone we have got.
