Yes season after season we still talk about the rollercoaster that is supporting Leeds. Every season we end up messing around hoping for new players, asking where all the cash has gone, why can't we afford player A or B etc. We moan about the prices, we moan about the members club, the shop, the pies and bogs. This summer has been different from the norm, because we now talk about takeovers, Bates and cash, Warnock not being supported ...... A takeover happens in around 4-weeks after due dilligence has been completed, its just a case of sitting the protaganists down, along with their legal people and signing. That's unless the main protaganist is ken Bates, and the whole thing turns out to be months of haggling, and a potential collapse of the deal. Ken Bates is the only common denominator in this and he just festers away behind the scenes making us a laughing stock. He's hurt this club and carries on doing so. Yet another wasted season without a chance of prem football. Thanks you old coont

I agree with your sentiment but I'm not writing off the season just yet.
Remember, the points are given out in that little weekly 90 minute window that Bates has absolutely no control over.

The only way to get the message across from the fans - STAY AWAY. Unless we see attendances down to say 16-18000 he will not take any notice. At 20000 plus all he needs to do is slightly increase day ticket costs to cover any shortfall from the average of 23000 gates which has been factored into total required gate income! This is drastic I know but how else can the fan base put pressure on the arrogant ..........

Agree Doc, very frustrating...
Lets not forget we are football supporters though, not politics supporters, and currently, we are 6 points from a possible 9, a good home game Saturday, and a cup game tonight.
