Be careful what you wish for?

The Capital One draw is Thursday night. Now that Blackburn is over, a question:

Is it best ...
(a) to host or visit the likes of Man Utd etc. and the Capital One campaign is all over in a brief but beautiful moment?
OR
(b) to have an easier draw with a lower league team that we should beat and then still have the chance of bigger teams in the next round - but also still run the risk of not beating the lower league team, plus getting more red cards, injury etc. which then affects the L1 promotion push?
OR
(c) some other combination?

Congratulations on your result last night.

If I were to apply your options to my team it would be a definite a)...the League's always the priority.

A big club for me. Maybe Arsenal or Chelsea away. Although we don't seem to have the luck of the draw in getting a top 5 club.

Yes some of the League One and League Two teams seem to get drawn against the big boys year in year out.
Would like any Premier London club away, or any BIG Premier team at home.
In reality we cant win it so it doesnt matter when you play the big club anyway.

Well the oppertunity for a big club is there so I think I'd take it, though as it's a Carling Cup tie I'd rather it be at home. Not as many people could make it to Manchester on a Tuesday night, so the crowd would probably be disappointing including the fact that the big clubs play weaker teams in this tournament, so a trip to Old Trafford would be almost worthless given how much money it'd cost too. I'd love a United away kind of tie in the FA Cup mind.

Big London club away please. Don't even mind if we get thumped.

I don't want a team we should beat and I definitely don't want a 'middle of the road' PL team like we always get.

I dont know haza I'm up for a middle of the road PL - Arsenal will do fine

Not bad and better home than away for that one.
