Samoa 32 v Australia 23

Very interesting, however i wont pass judgement untill i see the team sheet and then we have OZ, SA and NZ playing itn the Tri nations right before the WC giving them hands down the best pre WC build up, so to sneer at them now is folly plain and simple.

Are Australia the France of the South? They go from sublime brilliance in some of their games against NZ to absolute schoolboy performances against lesser teams.

I don't underestimate Samoa by any means, but I don't know how much you can take from this result - except that a determined and solid Samoa team physically dominated a developmental Aussie XV. Samoa just took it far more serious, and the Aussies looked like they were playing in a baa-baas game.
