so walcotts justification for not signing the deal according to the guardian is that Milner gets £90K, and Arsenal make money from him in the far east so he should get a slice of that money too!

Walcotts not signing a new deal?

I think we've kept Walcott for now.

where have you been Oscar? It was the big news last night, turned down a £75K plus £5million sign on deal for 5 years!

Walcott is pants and doesn't warrant half of that money, although he kind of has a point as Milner is pants too, probably a worse player.

but Arsenal is not stupid like Man city to pay Milner that amount of money, he shouldn't even be comparing!
And if he really wants to compare, who is first choice in England!

There's no doubt he's deluded but he just has to realise that life is unfair (in that crapper players get paid more than he does) and get on with it.

Reading last night's comments, it's clear people have trouble letting go of their pre-conceived opinions. Some sound like they've never kicked (or faced) a ball in their lives. All those posts about Valdés being at fault for Ronaldo's goal - utter rubbish.
He's earned his reputation for howler's and I'm the first to slam the guy for goals like Madrid's 2nd in the away leg, but last night he saved Barça from an utterly humiliating scoreline.
Also, complete failure to acknowledge how many times he's bailed Barça out, given that Barça's style means that a great many of the chances he has to face are clear 1-on-1s.
He's not the best keeper in the world by any stretch of the imagination, but he certainly isn't as poor as most make out, and even if he was, it still doesn't mean he's at fault when he's not.

"last night he saved Barça from an utterly humiliating scoreline" - it must be said, coupled with some very poor finishing from Madrid.
