Starting to poo myself, we need to sign players.
Looks like its going to be a nightmare either way, deadline day transfers will take a while to bed in, or if we dont sign anyone were in a whole lot of trouble.
I expect to lose on sunday, which will be hard to take, seeing Sahins silly smirky face.
Gutted seeing Dembele go to spurs. Just seems like every player that would suit us is going to our rivals.
We need to act fast, or face "doing a liverpool".
And i know you've got to think positive, but seriously, im devastated by what im seeing atm, were a shadow of what we used to be, and what we still should/could be if we wasn't so unwilling to spend money. Times have changed, its pay over the odds or don't get what you want im afraid.
Any news?

None, I think the best we can hope for is our dead wood moving on this window. Its the first and only step to potential signings.

Anyway, before going off on one, i would wait until 11:01pm on Friday before making doom and gloom assessments.
All i know is Arsenal are working on 2-3 players. That's all.

Is Capoue going to be one of them?

Probably not, no idea really
We are focusing on selling players first, things can happen very quickly on deadline day so I wouldn't worry about the time we have left

It's difficult to say if we will sign anyone. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go same as last year, where we bring in Arteta type signing. We never really heard any rumours about Arteta, then he just signed. So something could happen. But I won't be shocked at all if nothing happened.

At least if you "do a Liverpool" you might win something.

As HMNIV states, any player coming in is now linked with whoever leaves the club.
The Arsenal team are negotiating in two fronts. Those the they want to bring in, and those that they want to let go (Bendy, Park, Chamakh, Arshavin, Squillaci).
So you can appreciate the massive task.

"The Arsenal team are negotiating in two fronts."
While that is important, it will be ridiculous if we miss out on good signings just because we can't move completely unproductive players like Squillaci and Park. We need to take the hit for them (by keeping and unregistering if we can't find any suitors). The season is more important than the salaries of these players
