I know his leaving was acrimonious, regardless of the rumour about him and BFP's missus, but right now I would think smoking the pipe of peace with PG and promising not to be a naughty boy again would neatly see him reinstated.
He wouldn't have the funding of previous years, but he'd have the good will of most whites fans, I'd think.
And he knows how to set up a team to defend.
Oh - and he also knows Hoofball - well you can't have everything!

Your having a laugh. If someone poked your missus and you could decide if he came back to work with you or not, you would have to be a very forgiving person to take him on.
Anyway, do you really think that he would leave West Ham to come back to Bolton? I don't think he would but you never know.
