For anyone who knows their wrestling history, yesterday was the 20th anniversary of one of the WWF/E's greatest ever matches.
Bret Hart vs British Bulldog at Summerslam 1992 from Wembley stadium.
What a match - What a shame that the same event 20 years later didn't have one single match that could hold a candle to it.

I loved that match, a friend of mine got to go to that summerslam too. That is one of my favourite ever PPVs. The bulldog / hart match was great, they presented hart as a kind of semi-heel for just this match but they all kissed and made up in the end
Other notable highlights were sensational sherri being humilated by Rick Martell and Ric Flair cutting some awesome promos despite not even wrestling. Heenan came out with some great one-liners too.

I was there too!
Right at one end, 3rd row from the back
Didn't realise that "Restricted view of the screens" (above the ring) meant no view unless you walked halway down to ground level.
At the end, when Bulldog pinned Hart, we made a dash for it, hoping to miss the rush, then sat there for hour'n'half. We were by a gate, I asked the burly guard stood in front of it if he was going to open it and got a "No" back. Nothing went by the gate for half an hour, they could have let us go.
To top that we missed all the fireworks etc. I wore the tshirt til it was threadbare.
