Awareness and dangers of weightlifting

Do not lift heavy weights unless you have been trained to do so!!

If in doubt always seek advice from your supervisor, shop steward or union rep.

Always remember the following simple phrase "If in doubt do pull out".

Also do make sure all method statements, and risk-assesments have been carried out and sub-mitted to the D.C.P.R.O. (Duty Chief Petty Regulations Officer) before any lifting/thrutching or snatches take place.

Thanks for the advice not!
I asked my supervisor about thrusting and snatches and promised to pull out if I had a doubt.
She sacked me.

She cannot do that ,it sounds like you've got a good case for unfair dismissal.
I strongly advise you to contact your union rep and bring the company to its knees.
She will soon want you all to "pull out" then!!!!
Good luck keep us posted
