It was only 2 weeks ago when interviewed BR stated, "I would be a nutcase, to let Andy Carroll go out on loan".
What is he playing at? What has changed in those 14 odd days? I would seriously like some kind of statement from the club when the deal is formalized as what has changed the opinion of the manager and board to sanction such a deal. His comments today in the press also didnt wash very well with me.
What is going on?
Brendan's Blooper?

Didn't Barca send Ibrahimovic on loan the following season after buying him for £60+m?

Are you comparing Ibra with Carroll??

Guys...i think for once u will have to forget abt Carroll's fee and treat him as a player excess to the requirements.
Sell him for somewhere arnd 15 mil and invest in a good goalscorer.
What use is Gerrard, Suarez creating chance after chance when u have no-one to make sure u get the best value for all ur chances created.

No obviously not. The poster whose comment I quoted, asked if another player as expensive as Carroll had gone on loan the following season, so I listed Ibrahimovic as an example.

Looks like Andy Carroll's could be the first deal in history to get two managers the sack.
Pathetic from Rodgers

Was it not, I would be a nutcase to let him go back to Newcastle on loan. 35 mill last season and they have a wee cheeky bid to take him back for nowt.

What exactly does this say about both the talent and maturity of Carroll? I doubt if he will ever return to Liverpool. How could such a "so called" football talent not fit into Liverpool F.C.?
Obviously there is something going on behind the scenes.
