Brace yourself

We could lose several first team players before the window shuts later.
Robbo, Dann, Givet, Lowe,Olsson, Formica, N’zonzi were all linked with moves away during the summer but never materialised.
Is the Rhodes deal a smokescreen? If we sell Olsson and Nzonzi for £4m each, that’s the £8m back straight away.

Nothing surprises me any more at Ewood, the spin is unbelievable.

What spin? We have only lost players who did not want to be there and 9 players have come in with a mixture of experience, unknowns and decent strikers. I think the penny has finally dropped for Venky's about how to begin to run a football club. Within reason you can't criticise them so far this season. (albeit the previous 2 were very very poor to say the least)
We have managed to be unbeaten so far in the league whist playing poorly. The team can only get better and with the signing of Rhodes it is sending out a real positive signal.

Lets just see who remains after the window closes this evening. Then everyone can then draw their own conclusions!I have only seen decent players leave and replaced with the over the hill gang,Rhodes is an exception I hope he does well.

Rovers fan in Kent,

Doing well in the Championship after being relegated from the premier league is not an achievment. With our squad, its the very least we should be doing.

If a child at school was a bit slow and sent back to the year below and suddenly was top of the class, you wouldn't call them a genius would you?

As for losing players that didn't want to be there, ask the question, why do they not want to be there? poor manager, club in decline, owners who haven't a clue, etc...

There is no way in hell that El keano can keep this run up,the bubble burst when we lost to thMKD.I dont care if we win everything there is to win this year ive had enough of the bald headed prat!

I agree we should do well after coming down from the PL, however it is not as simple as that. How did we do the last time we were relegated?
I am not a fan of Kean or Venky's and wish they had never stepped foot in Ewood. However we can't change that and have to put up with it. Being promoted will only take us back to where we were. I am just saying that not everything Venky's do has a malicious intent.
