Arsenal should take City's 23m for Nasri...

...And keep Cesc just to annoy the mayor of Catalan.

That money should be used to get Sakho and Inler, with the swiss midfielder we could play 4-4-2 when Cesc goes missing with injuries or when we need change of tact.

Sakho 14m
Inler 12m-14m

This back four would look promising.

Sagna------Koscieslny------Sakho---Vermaelen

With Djourou and Squillaci as cover and Traore and Gibbs covering for Vermaelen.

It would be madness for us to turn down a 23 million pound offer for Nasri. We can get a much more useful player for that money.

10.6 million quid whihc in this current market I would say is very good

However Wenger clearly didnt rate him for whatever reason

cityblue - it's all wenger, not allowing contract talks during the season

Honest question not wumming, how was Nasri allowed to run his contract down this low, who handles these things at arsenal?

What we did last summer was give Rosicky a new deal, a player who should have followed Eduardo out of Arsenal because of injuries.

City do the same it's just mind boggling that this players contract was allowed to reach this level without being sorted!

10m for an experienced player is a bargain, i actually believe he would have performed better than Gilberto.

Can't believe he went for £10M and we didn't even put a bid in for him. Wenger what are you doing?!

I do like Sakho, think he would do well here but PSG have their very own sugar daddies now so some of their players may not want to leave anymore. I think we should be looking to sign 2 of Matuidi, Vertonghen, Heitinga, Agger, Sakho - proven versatile defensive players.

Batmanu, Inler would have suited our style, he is a tidy player who loves to protect the back four and link the midfield with our attack...like a continuity midfielder.

You're right, the the Qatar sugar daddys will make it hard for us to sign Sakho now....but we can always try.

Yea I definitely could have seen him fitting into our style. I heard they let Zapata go relatively cheap aswell yet Wenger didn't even put in an enquiry. Really baffling considering he was trying to sign him 2 years ago.
