Skrtel - My Best Season Ever

One of my players of the season. Top defender, potentially, and he's played every game this season, which is an achievement to be proud of for any player.

I disagree with those responses. Besides, giving 100% means nothing if you're not good enough.

He is average and we won't be winning any titles as long as he is in the centre of defence.

Well I would just like to know which site you bought your crystal ball from as I know some others who think they see the future but obviously your crystal ball works much better.

I agree with the reds.
Besides, I've never seen the point of getting on the back of your own players.

Skrtel is god awful, but by his own poor standards he played well, his disfigured head won plenty of aireal balls.

and give skrtel a break ffs, how can you be having a go at him after playing all 38 games and for 19 of them was actually quite good? why dont you have a go at carragher who cant jump over a soaked newspaper anymore?

or better yet, how about you dont have a go at any of our players, and support them until they are no longer playing for us, at which point, if they were good, you can thank them or respect the part they played, and if they were shocking, just forget they even played for us.

That's not a fair response.

Firstly, I have never sad a bad word about Lucas, even in his first year and I don't care for the assumption. Anyone can make stuff up like that.

Also, you say I'm having a go at him instead of supporting him. Just because I don't think someone is good enough doesn't mean I'm not supporting them. Come matchday I am always behind each and everyone of them.

Forgive me for thinking some of the players aren't good enough for Liverpool.

And what's all this getting on Kenny's back about? Is that just another assumption you're throwing in here?

Lastly, you ask how I can have a go at someone eho has had 19 good games out of 38 - well, I think you've just answered that yourself.

If you went harry half seasons then fine but don't be expecting any accolades.

And i was not saying that you were a part of the lets get lucas brigade, just simply asking.

There is no problem about saying that a player is not good enough for liverpool, cause let's be honest, nor is jovanovic, ngog and konchesky to name a few, but having a go at one of our best players of the season (in my opinion behind reina, kuyt, lucas and meireles) does not say much for other players. I am only including players that have been with us since august.

Skrtel may or may not be good enough to have played for liverpool in the past, and he may not be good enough for us in the future, but atm, he is one of our key players as it turned out, but key players change almost every year.....imo of course...

Although to be fair to Gerrard, he hasn't been on the back of the Echo saying how great he has played this season.
