...honestly believe that Arsenal are a better team now than they were last year?
Now that the top goalscorer & top assist maker have both left, and Giroud, Pod & Cazorla have come in, have Arsenal increased their chances of Silverware significantly?
39m was brought in from RvP & Song being sold.
39m was spent on 3 new players.
Where has all the property development and profit cash gone?
Where is the ambition to move closer to the top of the table?
Does anybody...

I do. We have a much more balanced squad with an actual functioning midfield unit and a solid defence. We just need our attack to click and gain some confidence to really take off.

When I start slating Arsene on Ja606 you will know the reason why.

We have not been improving at all since the past 5 or 6 seasons. All we've been doing is fighting a battle of trying to replace players leaving. And when they leave its never for any one better. All we are doing is just surviving for that champions league spot every season.

Are we really going to do this for the next 5 hours.? However much we want it, we are not signing anyone else. Deal with it.

we are considerably worse. Last year we were so reliant on RVPs goals. I honestly thought the board/AW learnt from last year but no again we sell 2 of our best players and Theo to leave in Jan
Like you i am struggling to understand where our cash goes. Do we have no kitty at all? All we have done this summer is spend what we brought in. Last year we had s huge surplus from Cesc/Nasri.. where is our cash.. it is no good on the damn Balance Sheet

It depends how the new signings do. If Podolski and Giroud flop then we're screwed, if they do well then together with Cazorla they will provide more for the team than RVP on his own imo. Song going doesn't effect us, don't rate him.

I don't think we are better. However we could perform better if the newcomers settle down really quickly and we have very few injury issues...but yeah that's definitely gonn ahappen

Yes, but only because Per, TV and Kos have had an extra season top play together so our defence is stronger. I also think Giroud and Podolski are still affectively doing their pre season, give them a couple more games and they'll come good.

However, we could have done a lot better this transfer window and went for the league but again the board showed their terrible, money grabbing, selfish selves. I am completely disgusted. Let us not forget the performance against Cologne where we were very fluid albeit against a poor team. I am sure in time we can replicate that performance against better opposition.
