I thought I was getting too worked up earlier so decided to take time away from SSN, Twitter, ja606, etc, and just see who we signed after 11pm.
I thought no matter what we did today it would be a shambolic failure of a transfer window but at the very least I thought we would sign some cheap past it Chelsea reject on loan like Malouda, Yossi or Essien (which in itself would be a disgrace but at least it would be something). But after watching the post match coverage of Chelsea vs Atletico, I saw that we weren't even going to manage that because Yossi is on his way to West Ham and Essien to Real Madrid.
It has come to the stage with this fecking board that I now actually hate the fact that I support Arsenal. It fills me with so much rage. Not because we are crap, not because we don't spend money, not because we don't win trophies. I hate the fact that Wenger and the board can consistently lie to us, saying that we are ambitious, that there is money to spend, that we want to compete, that we will sign a special player(s), that we are 'in the market'. It's all fúcking lies but what gets to me is they know that they can lie to us and we still come crawling back. They make me so fúcking sick and mad and I don't even put money into the club like many people on this board do, I don't go to matches, I don't waste 100s of pounds on a season ticket that will never be invested into the club.
There is an evil cowboy yank asset stripping this club and turning us into Tottenham and all we can do is sit here and accept it. RVP, Nasri, Song, you can call these guys s all you want and don't get me wrong, they are monumental s but THEY ARE RIGHT. We are a joke.

Why? The Sky TV deal comes into action next year, which would mean an automatic increase in revenue. Plus new sponsorships in 2014. Best time to push for a trophy was this year! Take advantage of Spanish and Italian money woes.

About time you guys realised this. Looking in from the outside it's so obvious. You make a profit every window (why do you think RVP was never actually offered a contract?) and that's all the board cares about. You're fecking lucky you have a genius like Wenger in charge.

It's a genuine shame we weren't thrashed 5-0 in our two opening games, at least we would have panic bought like last year... That 8-2 loss to United ended up saving our entire season.

Still agree with my own comment. Obviously I'd rather be sensible and not need to panic buy but not buying at all is shocking.
